I graduated with a degree in Time Arts from Northern Illinois University, where I learned a bit of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Shortly after graduating I started my web design career, where I quickly picked up knowledge of the craft, and realized that I love the mix of technical challenge and visual design that being a web designer demands. I love finding inspiration in current websites and applying new ideas to website design and interaction. As anyone who works in this realm knows, there's always more to learn, with ever-changing standards in CSS, Javascript, ADA, etc., and I enjoy the pursuit of the latest trends and industry knowledge.

Outside of work, I love cars, video games, and watching comedy shows/movies/standup. I also enjoy giving my long-haired Chihuahua way too much attention.
